Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Yestogo Chianti. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Vespa hire service offered by YesToGo Chianti. By using our service, you agree to abide by these terms. Please read all the terms and conditions carefully before proceeding with your booking.

Rental Requirements

Minimum age: The driver must be at least 18 years old.
Driving Licence: The driver must hold a valid driving licence.
Driving Experience: The driver must have experience of riding motorbikes.
Browsing data: Information collected automatically when browsing our website (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited).

Booking and Payment

Booking: Bookings can be made online via our website or at our office.
Payment: Payment must be made at the time of booking. We accept credit cards, debit cards and other forms of electronic payment.
Security Deposit: A security deposit is required; this will be refunded once the vehicle has been returned in satisfactory condition.
Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of booking will be fully refunded. After this period, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total cost will be charged.
Changes to the Booking: Any changes to the booking must be notified at least 48 hours before the start of the hire period and are subject to availability.

Use of the Vehicle

Terms of Use: The vehicle must be used in accordance with local laws and road traffic regulations.
Restrictions: You must not use the vehicle off-road, take part in races, or carry more passengers than the vehicle’s capacity allows.
You must wear a helmet whilst riding. The use of additional safety equipment is recommended.
Driver’s Liability: The driver is liable for any fines, traffic offences and damage caused during the hire period.
Mileage: The hire includes unlimited mileage.

Liability and Damages

Responsibility of the Hirer: The hirer is liable for any damage to, loss of or theft of the vehicle during the hire period.
Insurance: Third-party liability cover for personal injury, damage to property and financial loss up to a specified limit in the event of damage to third parties. There is no comprehensive insurance.
Maintenance: The hirer must inform Yestogo Chianti immediately of any technical problem or breakdown.

Returning the Vehicle

Return Time: The vehicle must be returned by the time agreed in the hire contract.
Vehicle Condition: The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when it was hired, apart from normal wear and tear.
Penalties: In the event of a delay in returning the vehicle or if it is returned in an unsuitable condition, penalties will be applied as specified in the hire agreement.

Changes to the Terms

Yestogo Chianti reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments will be published on our website and will take effect immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be settled in the competent courts of Florence.
