1. Guide Warning
The Vespa and other scooters available from our rental shop are fun to drive, but not suitable for beginners e very expensive to repair.
The customer declares that he/she is experienced in driving scooters and that he/she is aware of the risks involved in the use of the vehicle.
No refund will be granted if the customer books a scooter and later realises that not being able to drive it; such a situation will be considered a no-show and will be charged in full.
2. Booking, Cancellation and Changes
Reservations can be deleted or modified up to 48 hours before the collection date.
In the event of cancellation after this deadline, the amount paid will not be refunded.
Rain or adverse weather conditions do not constitute valid grounds for cancellation, unless otherwise authorised in writing by Yestogo Chianti.
3. Insurance Coverage
All vehicles provided by Yestogo Chianti are covered by compulsory motor liability policy, as provided for in the Private Insurance Code (Legislative Decree 209/2005 and subsequent amendments).
The policy only covers material and/or physical damage caused to unrelated third parties and passengers carried in accordance with the law.
The policy operates only within the prescribed limits, conditions and ceilings by the insurer and Yestogo Chianti, which are herein fully referred to.
In no case the policy covers damage to the hired vehicle, damage to the driver responsible or damage resulting from breaches of contract.
4. Absolute Exclusions
They are expressly excluded from coverage:
Partial or total damage to the hired vehicle, including theft, fire, vandalism or natural events;
Physical or material damage suffered by the driver or unauthorised passengers;
Damage resulting from:
driving without a valid licence or without complying with Italian regulations;
driven by a person other than the driver named in the contract;
driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or psychotropic substances;
transporting more passengers than permitted;
unauthorised commercial use;
participation in races, competitions or track tests;
traffic violations;
reckless driving, gross negligence or wilful misconduct;
Damage resulting from failure to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel or missing accessories;
Any personal items of the customer left on board.
5. Economic Responsibility of the Client
The customer accepts and declares to be sole responsible for:
repair or replacement of the damaged vehicle, according to an authorised workshop estimate;
payment of the commercial value of the vehicle in the event of total loss or uncovered theft;
vehicle recovery costs (€100 fixed + €3/km from the Yestogo Chianti office to the recovery location);
administrative costs for handling claims, fines, unpaid tolls (€50 minimum);
compensation for damages to third parties not covered by the policy.
6. Obligations of the Customer in the Event of an Accident
The customer undertakes to
Inform immediately Yestogo Chianti;
Contact the competent authorities if required by law;
Fill in and return CAI module or official documentation;
Do not make statements or admit liability without written authorisation;
Fully cooperate with the insurance company and Yestogo Chianti;
Hand over copies of minutes, reports or documents issued by the authorities within 24 hours.
Defaults entail total liability of the customer for all damages and expenses.
7. Infringements and Sanctions
From collection to return, the customer is exclusively responsible for all traffic violations:
fines, fines, tolls and incidental expenses;
forced removals, vehicle custody, administrative procedures;
all costs will be charged to the customer with any additional handling costs.
8. Improper Use of the Vehicle
The customer declares that he/she is aware that the insurance automatically lapses in case of:
driving by an unauthorised person;
driving without a valid or non-compliant licence;
driving under the influence of alcohol or substances;
participation in competitions or sporting events;
unauthorised commercial use.
9. Bad Weather and Atmospheric Conditions
Rain or adverse weather conditions do not constitute valid grounds for cancellation.
The customer may only change the date within the terms of the cancellation policy.
10. Acceptance and Awareness
By signing the contract, the customer declares:
that I have read and understood all the clauses;
to be aware that any damage to the vehicle or misuse is entirely your responsibility;
to release Yestogo Chianti from any additional liability not expressly stated in the contract;
that any derogation must be approved in writing by Yestogo Chianti.
